Co-Managed IT Services
You hired good IT people. Co-managed IT makes sure they’re not doing it alone. Aspendora Technologies partners with the internal IT staff of Houston-area businesses — we bring the 24/7 monitoring, enterprise security tools, and extra hands, while your team keeps the control and the institutional knowledge no outsider can replace. It’s not outsourcing, and it’s not a replacement. It’s a partnership where your team wins and your business wins.
Co-managed IT is likely a great fit if:
- Your IT team is one to five people – and they’re stretched thin covering everything from helpdesk to security.
- Firefighting crowds out the real work – tickets and patching keep pushing the projects that matter to next quarter, every quarter.
- Nights and weekends are uncovered – your network runs 168 hours a week, but your team can only watch 40 of them.
- You can’t justify a specialist hire – security and cloud expertise costs six figures per seat, and good people take months to find.
- You want help without giving up control – your team stays in charge; we fill the gaps they choose.

Your IT team can't be everywhere at once
Drowning in Tickets
Password resets, printer issues, and patch cycles eat every hour — the strategic projects never get off the ground.
40 Hours vs. 168
Your team works 40 hours a week. Your network — and the people attacking it — never clock out.
Specialists You Can't Hire
Security roles take six-plus months to fill and six figures to keep. One hire, one skill set, 40 hours.
You keep control. We fill the gaps.

Your Team Gains
Our enterprise toolset — included.
A senior bench for escalations.
Project muscle on demand.
Real vacation and sick-day coverage.
Every partnership is defined in a written responsibility matrix — who owns helpdesk, patching, security, and projects — so there's no double-ticketing and no finger-pointing. The split flexes to fit your team: we can handle end users while your team runs infrastructure, or the other way around.

Frequently asked questions
Are you trying to replace our internal IT staff?
No — and we put that in writing. Co-managed IT only works when your team gets stronger. Your IT staff keep operational control and decision-making authority, stay the face of IT to your users, and gain access to our full toolset and senior engineers. Our job is to make them look good.
What's the difference between co-managed and fully managed IT?
With fully managed IT, we act as your entire IT department. With co-managed IT, we partner with the IT staff you already have, sharing responsibilities under a written agreement. If you have no internal IT at all, fully managed is usually the better fit — and we'll tell you so.
How do we decide who handles what?
Together, during onboarding. A common split: we take 24/7 monitoring, patching, security operations, and backup, while your team owns end users and the line-of-business apps they know best — or the reverse. Everything is documented in a responsibility matrix, and shared ticketing means both teams see everything.
What tools does our team get access to?
The same enterprise stack we run for our fully managed clients: remote monitoring and management, endpoint detection and response, managed backup, patch automation, documentation, and security awareness training — included in your agreement, with no licenses to buy.
What size companies is co-managed IT for?
Typically Houston-area organizations with 25 to 250+ employees and an internal IT team of one to five people. If that's you, your IT team is almost certainly stretched thinner than it should be.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. Our co-managed agreements are month-to-month — we earn your business every month.
