About Aspendora

Aspendora Technologies was founded in 2010 and is based in La Porte, Texas, located just outside of Houston.  We serve clients throughout the Houston area and the United States.

 

Aspendora provides a custom tailored solution for your business technology.  We help our clients maximize their return on their technology investment.  We help our clients see the return, not the liability, of technology.

 

Aspendora helps our clients with both common and uncommon day to day technology issues.  Our team stays up to date with the latest changes in technology.

Aspendora was founded out of frustration.  Years ago, I was working for another company and we needed a project completed.  I contacted several companies and felt like I was being completely ignored.  During the initial phone call, I explained what I was looking for.  Each of the companies wanted to meet face to face, and each of the companies completely ignored my request and tried to push me onto something completely different.  I grew frustrated and realized that others probably feel the same way.  That project was never started.  We did end up finding another solution that worked.

After that experience, I decided to start my own IT company.  It wasn’t until a few years later that Aspendora was born.  Shortly after starting Aspendora, I noticed several other things that didn’t sit well with me.  I noticed an IT company who signed up his clients for managed backup, but had no idea how to accomplish this.  A year later, he still did not have backups in place, but had been charging his clients a full year.  I couldn’t believe this was happening.  It didn’t stop there though.  Most IT providers were signing up clients based upon their vendors sales and marketing and had no idea if the solution actually worked.  Many of those found out the hard way that it didn’t work.  I decided that I didn’t want to sell something unless I knew that it worked.  That severely limited my ability to grow.  I had much more overhead than the others who just sold whatever the vendor told them.  That still limits my ability to grow, but it helps me to be more confident in what I sell.  If I recommend something, it’s not because that vendor told me that it works.

Out of all of that, our motto was born:
