Over the past few months we’ve been working on getting the plumbing in place to connect our knowledge base, Atlassian’s Confluence, to our website domain. For the whole SEO (search engine optimization), I felt it was important to get it all under the “site”.

For the past few weeks we’ve had it operational, but there were some bugs with our implementation. Some of the pieces just weren’t communicating together as well as I’d hoped.

Today, I believe the setup and configuration is finally finished. The project will never be finished because the goal is to continually add content to the site.

It may not be as flashy as some of the other, but it allows us to quickly add content to the site. I believe that being able to quickly add content, combined with quality content, and a relatively easy to navigate user experience is more important than a great user experience that never gets updated or new content because it is too hard to produce.

The knowledge base can be reached by going to: www.aspendora.com/wiki. We’ll be adding a link to our home page shortly.
